Extra Time without an extension

My son got 3 hours online today when he should have only been allowed to have two hours.  He was on for 2 hours this morning on one computer, and then on for one hour on another computer this evening.  He has an account, with the same sign-on ID, on both computers tied to his ID Norton.  I don't understand how he could get exta time.

Re: Extra Time without an extension

This is as per the present design. Following is an extract from Time Settings Help:

"If your child uses multiple computers, the time restrictions that you specify applies for each computer that the child uses. For example, if your child uses two computers and you set up time restriction for one hour, the child can use each computer for one hour. The child gets a total of two hours to use the computer. Therefore, it is recommended that you plan and specify time restrictions if your child uses multiple computers. "

Please see the link below for Time Settings help:

As a workaround, you can create two different child profiles with same Settings.

Please note that the concern you raised is in our Enhancement List.

Thanks for the response.  I will keep that in mind and look for the enhancement.

Re: Extra Time without an extension

Yes, that would be a good enhancement.  At the present, to limit my kids to 2 hours total for 2 computers, I need to set the time limit at 1 hour, then force them to switch computers halfway through their time.
