false Heur.AdvML.B detections with Visual Studio |

Hello,

I use visual studio 2022, sometimes (...) my exec is détected with Heur.AdvML.B.

I think that's a fake !

I've exclude the devp folder to continue, but the exec is immédiately rejected when I copy and check it in a other folder.

thanks for help

Claude

Hello

thanks for reply

I've already exclude my devp folders from Norton and the assemblage run without détection (of course :D).

but, the executable still remains "infected"  said Norton. If I  check it in an other folder after copy there, he is deleted by Norton.

sorry for my bad english.

thanks in advance

Is Norton detecting a bad signing signature? Post a screenshot from the detection in your Norton history if you can. Seeing that will help myself and others assist better. This is how to post a screenshot into your replies here:

You may also submit the executable at Virus Total to see who detects this and doesn't.

Re: false Heur.AdvML.B detections with Visual Studio |

From your screenshot we cannot tell what the Norton detection is at Virus total. Symantec detections are now Broadcom and using a different detection scheme as it is designed for the corporate environment. Please DO NOT post a pdf file as most people won't open them due to the security risks involved. Please follow the guide previously posted to insert screenshots into the comments area of your posts so we may confidently review what you are seeing.

Bonsoir Claude (@Le Siberien)

Claude
