False-Positive of Norton Security Toolbar

Today when I attempted to preview a pdf file uploaded in my Facebook group, Norton marked the preview link as malicious and reported it to be containing drive-by download. Otherwise, download worked as expected. I do not the file is containing any malware, as that should be flagged by Norton auto-protect or other real-time monitoring features.

I believe it is Norton that wrongly marked this link as malicious.

cheers!

Re: False-Positive of Norton Security Toolbar

Try checking the URL at www.virustotal.com

If the site comes up clean, you can report the false positive. You can report false positive indications here https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
