Family Spontaneously Accessibility turned off in child’s device - Getting No Data
I recently installed Norton Family on my son's Android 7.0 BLU R2 LTE and so far, it has simply not worked.
- I followed installation guides, added my son's profile, installed the app on his phone, got the "Installed Successfully" message.
- However, after 4 separate complete installs/uninstalls, activity is not appearing on the parent portal, app blocking is not 100% and the app overall is not doing what I expected at all.
- Further, I am getting the below alert/email between 2 hours and 1 day after the installation "Accessibility turned off in child’s device" and then nothing seems to work at all. I am seeing none of his text or call traffic either
- In each occasion that I received the above alert **I have had the phone in my possession and doing nothing to the device**, my son has NOT had i so he is NOT "hacking" the phone in any way.
So far, this supposed industry leader has not worked on my son's phone at all and has been a complete disappointment.
I really want it to work, please help me resolve this problem, its very important to our family.
Accessibility turned off in child’s device
Hi My Family,
The Norton Family Accessibility Service setting has been turned off on ****** Android device ******'s R2 LTE. Accessibility is required for enhanced monitoring of your child’s online activities on this device and to prevent unauthorized uninstallation of the Norton Family app.
To resolve this issue, turn the Accessibility setting on in your child’s device. The setting can be found at Settings > Accessibility > Norton Family Accessibility Service.
In some Android devices, this setting can be found in Settings under the Device tab.
