[Feedback] Bar Icon Looks Fuzzy On Retina Screen

I've made a picture for this (see the pdf)

You can see from the picture that 1Password Mini icon looks good, but Norton icon looks fuzzy

(in case you can't recognize where I am referring to, I've also upload a full screen picture)

Re: [Feedback] Bar Icon Looks Fuzzy On Retina Screen

Hi cuishuohua

Please raise this via the chat forum to a Norton employee so Norton is aware of the feedback. There are multiple issues that have been raised in the mac forum and I believe that norton Team is working on fixing them

Thanks

Re: [Feedback] Bar Icon Looks Fuzzy On Retina Screen

I have also noticed this retina menu bar issue one year later, as of Norton Security 7.3.1 and macOS Sierra 10.12.3.

This is also noticeable on the Safari toolbar for Norton's Safari Extension, when the Norton logo is shown for a 'Norton Secured' website.

I chatted with Norton Support and they have said they will raise this to their developers and ask about why it's taking so long to resolve this.

I guess that´s one of the disadvantages with Mac. iOS is often the system with the newest apps, but then the deal is about conventional programs such as Norton, iOS is given a lower priority.

Re: [Feedback] Bar Icon Looks Fuzzy On Retina Screen

Interestingly, I recall Norton Internet Security 5 (before Norton Security) previously having a retina friendly menu bar icon, and now the release of Norton Security no longer uses one. As the icon is always seen when using a Mac, it would be nice to fix this back to using retina friendly menu bar icons, just like Kaspersky, Sophos, BitDefender, Avast, ESET, and others currently do.

Re: [Feedback] Bar Icon Looks Fuzzy On Retina Screen

When will you guys recognize that Macs have retina displays? Wouldn't your Mac developers be mindful of this?? In a long string of menubar items, this one stands out as being blurry/pixelated and not optimized for the higher-resolution Mac screens. Retina Macs first came out in 2012, time to update Norton Security guys! This is overdue now by a YEAR or more...
