Firefox 49.0.1 and latest update 22.8.0.1

I've received the latest NIS update to ver. 22.8.0.1 but Firefox reports the add-on can't be downloaded because of a connection failure.

Yep, had the same thing here.  I have reported it to Symantec already.

Edit:  By the way, do you mean 22.8.0.50?

A little bit of knowledge is... well a little bit of knowledge.

I dont feel alone now I went ahead and installed the norton addon in FF when I got that warning.but sure is taking along time to logging into the vault

Re: Firefox 49.0.1 and latest update 22.8.0.1

I see the norton addon is greyed out is that suppose to be like that because it takes a bit for the vault to unlock when i sign in to unlock it.do i remove the addon then reinstall that addon in FF

Where are you seeing it greyed out? In the FF Add Ons page? The icon is now grey. Is that what you are referring to?

Re: Firefox 49.0.1 and latest update 22.8.0.1

That is not greyed out. It is just the color of the icon. You see the same color on the address bar of FF.

As long as you already have an online vault the passwords are already there for the FF ID Safe extension.

Bookmarks have nothing to do with Norton. Did you reinstall FF?
