Floating Safe icon won't go away

I just installed Norton 360 to my Google Pixel 5.  I cannot seem to get rid of the annoying floating SAFE icon that hugs the side of the screen.  I've turned all notifications off for Norton, uninstalled Norton.... and it's still there.  Has anybody been successful at removing this?  TIA!
