SAFETY ADVICE. DONNOT OPEN ANY EMAIL FROM NORTON SECURITY
I was conned into believing that Norton was contacting me about renewing my service but it was a scam from China to get into my bank account. had to close all my accounts because of the fraud. also real Norton. had no idea it happened when I'm called them. hard to trust Norton now

Norton cannot control/stop anyone from sending you an email pretending to be Norton. And there are so many scammers out there, there is no way for Norton to know about every scam.
And it is not just Norton being targeted. Microsoft and McAfee are also targets of this kind of scam. And you do not even have to use that product to receive these scams. Obviously it is easier to catch the scam of you are not using the product.
Consumers have to be on their toes these days to help protect themselves against such scams. Norton customers can check the email sender against this information. Is this email from Norton legitimate?
