ftutil2.dll question

Last night I had a problem with some Trojan.BHO files, that the forum helped me remove.  Thanks again for all the help.  Today while I was reading another post, I saw where dbrisendine recommended another poster check a couple of files HiJackThis found and let the program remove those files.  After checking my HiJackThis file, it showed I also have the 04 HKLM...\Run:[ftutil2] rundll32.dll.exe  ftutil2.dll, SetWriteCacheMode file.  Should I let HiJackThis remove that program or was that a special operation just for that problem?

Thanks again for the help last night.

Re: ftutil2.dll question

It's a legit file if in the HKLM (O4) section belongs to part of a raid controller

Quads,  Thank you for your reply.  I don't know much about a raid controller, but I'll accept your answer.
