Ghost 14 status question

I have been using Norton Ghost ver 14 for a couple of months now, with no problem that I know of.  The last week or so, the Ghost 14 icon, in the lower right corner of the taskbar, started acting strange.  It seems to me that the program isn't checking it's status when I start my PC, in the mornings.  Sometimes the icon is yellow, when my external drive is on and sometimes it's yellow when the drive is off.  Sometimes just the opposite, I have the green check when my drive is on or off.  If I double click on the icon, then the program runs through it's "Calculating Status" screen and then shows the correct status.  The program used to do this as part of the PC startup procedure but now I have to manually click on the icon to get the program to start and check it's condition.  When I used msconfig to see the startup screen,  the Norton Ghost \ VProTray is checked and in the services screen, it shows Norton Ghost is running.

Does anyone know of a reason the program stopped running its startup program, when the PC is starting up?

Re: Ghost 14 status question

I think I've found the answer.  It looks like I may have a drive letter question, that is causing the Ghost program some confusion.  I posted another thread, to look for help that way.
