Ghost v10, copy hard drive?

I am using Ghost v10 and upgrading to a larger HD.  Can I use the copy disk function to copy my current drive to an external usb drive, install the new HD and then copy back from the ext drive?  When I started the copy disk function, it said cannot used to be copy to a network drive or removable media, but it went ahead and started the copy process.  Is an external USB drive considered removable media?

If it is, what are my options?

Thanks,

Re: Ghost v10, copy hard drive?

Within the user's guide you'll see instructions of how to use the Drive copy function to do what you are looking for.  Copying to a USB drive will not work.  If you wanted to temporarily use the USB drive you will want to create an Image of your drive saved to the USB HDD.

I figured that one out but now am having issues with the internal HD I installed and tried to do a copy hard drive function on.  See my next post.
