Google App not working

The Google App isn't working.....I've tried all of these steps and nothing is working:

- Made sure that the app is updated

- Made sure all of the permissions are enabled (Accessibility has repeatedly been an issue and needs to be disabled and re-enabled periodically)

- Reduced the time to Zero

- Used the "Instant Lock" option

NOTHING is working.....this is one of the main features that I am paying for. PLEASE HELP. If your application won't work can you please suggest an alternate?
