Google Chrome and Vista

Hi,

Google Chrome announced that they will soon stop getting updates with my Windows Vista operating system. I want to keep Vista and Google Chrome, will my Norton protect me? Or should I switch to Firefox?

Thanks for any advice.......

Hi beroun.
The correct answer to your query, is to keep 'SAFE'. Always utilise the latest build levels of your products, to remain secure.
'FIREFOX' runs OK on 'VISTA'. It'll be interesting to see if 'FIREFOX' ends support at some stage, during 'VISTA's' last year ?

Be safe out there !

Re: Google Chrome and Vista

As long as you keep your Norton product up to date, it will still catch anything you might run into with whatever browser you use. It may not get caught right in the browser, but it will be caught if some malware tries to run on your system.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Thanks all, have switched to Firefox. Sorry to see Google Chrome go, it worked just fine for me.

Firefox is however great also.
