Had to reinstall 360 Premier; asks for product key; says already activated

We had to reinstall Norton 360 Premier. On reboot, we were asked for the product key. When we entered it, we got a red box saying that the product was already activated, and won't let us go any further.

Now what?

I've already done that - chose the uninstall / reinstall option - and this is where I ended up upon reboot. Do I need to do it again?  Choose the uninstall only? If I do that, where do I go to redownload?

You say the message says it is already activated. Check your Norton 360 main screen to see how many days are reported as remaining on the subscription.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

My husband tried rebooting his computer, and after waiting awhile, Norton 360 loaded and is working.

Yes. Good news.

When you reinstall on the same physical computer, you normally do not need to enter the product key. Not sure why you saw that message, but at least all is well again.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
