I have been mining crypto since December 2021. For the year 2021, I made $20.92943047404181. As of June 23, 2022, my Total Assets are ≈$21.17. It does not make sense to mine for half a year and make less than a dollar. I have not withdrawn any money. Every month It shows a mining payout but a payout to who? any ideas?

The mining payout is to your Norton Crypto wallet. Can you post a screenshot of your payout view? What is your current hashrate?

ok, how long do you let the miner run per 24 hr day? when you open the Norton 360 application what does it say you would earn per day / per month? those numbers are indicating if you were to mine for 24hrs per day

I let the miner run 24 hours per day. The only time is when I have high GPU usage and it will then idle. I know I'm not talking about a lot of dollars but one would think they would make something in 6 months. Ok, Projected Earning: Per month: 0.005382ETH (~ $6.21), Per Day: 0.000179ETH (~ $0.21).

if you send me a private message with your email (click on my name and click "send private message") I can have the team look at how often shares are submitted to understand the amount of time your machine is mining per day

considering your electricity cost, i'm confident you are losing money, possibly quite a lot, and if you take your severely shortened gpu lifespan into consideration, you get the picture
