Having trouble connecting to few websites and apps with Norton Secure VPN enabled

I too am having problems with VPN. Some websites will sometimes either not open, or they open and nothing works. Until I turn off the VPN. Then they work. Even Outlook has done it a few times. The list opens, but I can't open the emails to read them. Until I turn off the VPN.  Sometimes I get a screen about IP address couldn't be located. What good is VPN when I have to keep turning it off? And it's not consistent.

I'm still running W7 with Edge and it's working fine except for this VPN issue, and I believe the cause is not my setup. I do the Norton updates and scans, weekly defragmenting.

Another issue is that about once a month, when I shut down for the day, I get the screen telling me not to power off because an update is being installed, This has happened 3-4 times. I know Microsoft is no longer supporting W7, so it must be for Edge, I have noticed minor changes after these "installations". Could this be affecting the VPN?

I just hope it's not Microsoft gradually ruining W7 to force me into W11. they did that to XP. I'm retired, like what I've got just fine, and can't afford new anyway.

As an addition, now that I've read some other posts, my VPN troubles do seem to coincide with the appearance of Software Updater. I have been a customer of Norton for 10+ years, I just renewed a few months back, but maybe not anymore.

I have  the same problem and  I have windows 11. It is a Norton problem. I have phoned tech support and they can't fix it. I told them to escalate the issue. Who knows what will happen. I am considering another VPN.

Many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections. 

Your email provider may be detecting the VPN IP address as a possible attack on your account from a location they are not expecting for your account, so they block access.  If you are using a local copy of Outlook, and not cloud based, you can add Outlook to the split tunnel feature of 360's VPN. Click on the down arrow beside Turn on/off for the VPN and click on Settings. Click on Split Tunnel, and then click Add. Find the Outlook.exe file to add to the feature.

I am experiencing pretty much the same problem as the other posts.  At or around the time of the last Norton update my internet connection drops intermittently.  Certainly seems to be 100% related to the vpn.  If I disconnect the vpn the connection resumes immediately.  This will happen several time over the day.  I have a windows 10 machine with all updates to date, and Norton software is also up to date.
