H.B.’s Security Round-up 7-23-19.

Not too much to report in this one, however, wanted to draw attention to possible fraudulent dating scam.  Comes to your e-mail under the guise of lindseymATyourwebmailDOTorg who supposedly has a “profile” under the auspices of: ‘sxyluv30’, however, a quick Google search, links that screenname with being illegitimate:

Another, under investigation is “xxx” personalsDOTcom which yielded Norton 360 blocking a malicious intrusion attempt from a fake tech support page.  Specifically, the intrusion blocked was:

“Fake Tech Support 263”.  Good grief.    

Norton Safe Web is currently in the dark:
