Coe process Norton Security uses over 40% of disk for over 10 minutes after reboot.

When was the last time you ran a full system scan? It is possible that if you have not left your system to idle enough, Norton is picking up on the need to complete a scheduled full system scan. Try leaving your system on overnight with no sleep or hibernate to allow all background tasks to run to completion. Then test to see if you still see the high use when you reboot.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
