How to completely disable Norton Performance Protection

I am unable to disable Norton's performance protection. It always says protected. I turned off performance monitoring, still doesn't disable. My issue is that performance monitoring is cleaning my ram and causing games to crash. My PC is really fast, so I don't need any help with that.

I just want Norton to not optimize my PC or touch my ram/disk cleans.

Also, I see disk clean processes in background tasks. How do I get to a screen to disable this stuff. Settings is all over the place.

Re: How to completely disable Norton Performance Protection

Open My Norton for My Norton window
Open Norton 360 for Classic window

Open Norton 360 -> Classic window -> Settings ->

Open Norton 360 -> Classic window -> Settings -> Tasks Scheduling ->

Open Norton 360 -> Classic window -> Settings -> Administrative Settings ->

and don't run Smart Scan
