My Identity Safe Vault account on my iphone has been locked because I forgot my password. I would like to delete it and recreate a new vault. Would anyone show me how to get this done?
The vault will unlock after a waiting period. Did you try the password hint?
Do you use ID Safe on your PC? That would be the best way to do this.
You have to realize when you reset the online vault, all is lost. If you need a backup of your vault logins, you need to do this from your PC.
If you are not worried about getting backed up first, you just need to enter 3 different incorrect passwords when trying to log into the vault. You should then be offered the option to reset the vault. This will clear everything and allow you to start again.

Sorry I seem to have tried to lead you astray. Using a PC, 3 different incorrect passwords will bring you to a vault reset option. I just tried on my iPad and as you say it does not offer a reset.
Do you have a Norton product installed on a PC? That should have ID Safe included and you would just have to try to set it up on the PC. Then you would be able to reset the vault.
I just want to verify that you have the right passwords. Try logging out of your Norton Account. Then log back in. Remember you need to first enter your email address associated with the Norton Account, then the Norton Account password. Then you get asked for the vault password. This is where many get confused.
Thank you soooo much. Yes, I know I need 2 passwords to get in my vault. I can log in my Norton account but cannot log in my vault.
I only have one Norton security product installed on my PC. I will check if the ID safe is included or not but I assume it would be. It sounds like installing it on my PC would be the best way to solve the problem.
