How do I connect my printer with a wired cord

My printer has an option to connect via a wired cord.  Because I have the wireless connection I figured it was off.  However, just turning the wireless option off, do not allow me to implement the wired option.  I have an HP LaserJet Pro Mfp M477).

I am running on Windows 10

I am running Norton LifeLock

Hello JBS. In your Windows settings remove the printer and reboot your computer. That will remove the printer and the wireless drivers that are already there. You will have to setup the printer from scratch following this guide. Or, power on the printer then plug in the USB cable for it, Windows should automatically detect and install the printer for you.
