How do I stop a listing in history?

I am using a Windows XP Pro pc with the latest version of 360.  I have been seeing numerous history listings like this:

Category: Firewall - Activities
Date & Time,Risk,Activity,Status,Recommended Action,Category
10/17/2013 9:24:57 AM,Info,"An instance of \"C:\WINNT\system32\HPBPRO.EXE\" is preparing to access the Internet.",Detected,No Action Required,Firewall - Activities
An instance of "C:\WINNT\system32\HPBPRO.EXE" is preparing to access the Internet.

How do I stop all these listings?

I do not recall seeing all these history entries until after I installed 360 v 21.0.1.3.  I am currently using v 21.1.0.18 and I still see the listings.

Re: How do I stop a listing in history?

Hi a123

Norton automatically logs the history and as far as I know there is no way to stop this from happening.  You can use the search box at the top right hand side of the history user interface to find certain history topics but it has its issues for example to check the frequency of the updates you can go to history, on the left hand drop down box click on full history then enter, Liveupdate session, in the search box on the right hand side of the window and click go, copy and paste what’s between the commas because if there’s a gap between live and update it won’t work (well it doesn’t on my version of NIS 2012). If you double click on anywhere on the update in the list it will open a window that has more details.

There have been reports of new reporting in Norton History with the new version. It seems there are more items being reported than in previous versions.

There is no way to choose what is reported.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.
