How do you turn off Anti Track

Suddenly, yesterday, when I try to start Edge, it only briefly flashes on the screen and then disappears. Was able to use it yesterday morning. Since Edge uses Chrome's engine, I tried Chrome. It started OK and I was able to browse but it notified me that an update was installing. When the update completed, Chrome issued a message that it needed to restart. I restarted Chrome and it, too, flashed on the screen and disappeared. No errors in the Window error logs either. Both now just flash on the screen and disappear.

The only thing common to the problem is that Anti Track is on both. I have Firefox and it's running great but Anti Track isn't on Firefox. How can I uninstall Anti Track from Edge and Chrome?

Just go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall Norton Antitrack. It will delete the program from any browsers it is installed on. I had to do the same thing as it was causing other problems for me.

Can you access Norton AntiTrack system tray button => Settings => Sign Out => restart machine

Message: "We've encountered an error. Reference ID: 4" appears on Norton AntiTrack app

fwiw ~ when I toggle Norton AntiTrack browser extension off / on.

Norton AntiTrack extension wants a browser refresh.

Caveat:  I had Norton AntiTrack Trial installed for testing.  I've since removed Norton AntiTrack extensions and client.  I've cancelled automatic renewal and removed payment details.  Just me.

Uninstalled it. Unfortunately it did not fix my problem.
