How to Import Passwords from Unsupported Service Not On List

Hello, everyone,

I ran into this issue earlier and am sharing the solution in hopes of helping others. If you are looking to import passwords from an unsupported service (e.g. BitWarden), the following steps should work:

1. Export the data from the unsupported service, preferably as a CSV.

2. Open the file in spreadsheet software, such as Google Sheets, Excel, or LibreOffice Calc.

3. Rename applicable columns to the following and sort in this order: url, username, password, totp, extra, name, grouping, fav

4. Delete extra columns, and if you do not have the data for one of the columns above, leave empty.

5. Save as CSV.

6. Select the ". . ." menu by the settings icon.

7. Click "import" on the menu.

8. The "Import Passwords" dialogue will appear. In the source dropdown, select "Lastpass".

9. Open the CSV in a text editor (e.g. Notepad).

10. In the box, where it says "Enter Information here", copy and paste from the CSV you just opened in your text editor.

11. Press "Import." Viola! You are done.

I use Norton and Bitwarden but I don't think I want to go to Norton Password Manager at least at present but it's useful to have this information since I have what is needed as utilities!

Not if you are on Ubuntu.

Looks like Norton wasn't bothered about adding the import option for Linux users.

All I have is "password generator" - "sync" - "Close".

No other options, and 500 passwords to import.

Other than the fact it is free, why should I bother with Norton?
