How to resolve current region not reporting in VPN, Windows 10 desktop
Secure VPN stopped reporting "current region" I have to drill down to see what region my vpn server is in. Happened after my last Windows 10 update yesterday. First time this issue surfaced it eventually "resolved itself." Live updates and scan works fine.

If this happened before and resolved itself, maybe you just need to restart your system a couple of times after the Windows updates.

Hi peterweb and thank you for the suggestion. I have tried the restart numerous times and no luck yet. Live Updates, Quick Scans do not fix either. My other devices all work fine with Norton VPN. Thanks again for your input. It is appreciated.

I'm having the same problem too. Even though VPN seems to be working, it is not reporting the current region. It's been going on for about a month now. It was nice to see the region displayed without having to drill down.

Have you run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available? Restart, not shutdown and startup again if you you Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
Also check to see that your Windows is fully updated.
