How to Stop Norton from Stripping Hyperlinks from Word Docs?

I know I can prevent Norton from removing scripts when downloading or opening documents. I also have read that I can configure Norton to Allow, Block, or Ask Me about scripts in Word and other Office programs. However, when I set it to Ask Me, I'm not asked and the hyperlinks in the documents I download are eliminated, replaced with about:blank. This is a pain in the patootie. How can I fix this?

If you set Norton to "allow" does the issue persist?  Give this a try to see if Norton is actually the culprit here.  I have seen reports of this happening with documents sent as Gmail attachments.

The links are still intact if I turn Remove of Block scripts off. I'd rather not turn them off for the long term, and I open docs so often that it's a hassle to turn Remove of Block scripts off for short periods. These come via a Microsoft Outlook email.
