How to stop skipped files on scans??

How do I change the settings so Norton scans, like on-demand folders and/or full scans don't skip or trust a single file, so as to scan every nook and cranny of the PC?

Each time you get new malware definitions downloaded by LiveUpdate, even the trusted files will get scanned again. As long as the trusted files have not been changed since they were last scanned, there should be no need to scan them again. The idea of skipping them is to speed up the scan process.
