Do you know your vault password?
Did you previously set up Mobile Unlock feature for your vault?
Note: There is no "Vault Password - Reset" process.
You may delete your vault and use your current Norton account to create a new vault.
You may setup a new Norton account for use with a new vault.
You may delete your vault and use your current Norton account to start over.
Note: Norton does not know your vault password.
Note: When you delete a vault, all of the Password Manager data that are stored in the vault is permanently removed. If you think that you may use your vault data at a later time, do not delete your vault.
- Do you know your vault password?
- Do you want to delete your vault and start over...using your same Norton account Sign In?
Note: When you delete a vault, all data stored in the vault is permanently removed.

- Do you see 'Sign out'?
- Please reinstall Norton Password Manager extension.
- Please try vault password with VPN off.
- Please try vault password from another browser.

Norton Password Manager
To use Password Manager, you will need to create a vault. The vault requires its own password. We do not store or keep your vault password so if you lose your vault password, we cannot recover it for you. It is your sole responsibility to remember and keep your vault password. You may then use your vault to store your logins, passwords and login URL’s for other sites you access and use.

Set up Mobile Unlock for Norton Password Manager
The Mobile Unlock feature lets you unlock your Password Manager vault using a desktop browser by approving a notification on your mobile device. Each time you launch your desktop browser with the Norton Password Manager extension installed, a vault unlock request notification is automatically sent to your registered mobile device. If you want to delete your vault. Please try "fake different password 3 times".
for example: 123 + Enter, 456 + Enter, 789 + Enter

It would be helpful, if you can please let us know on which Platform you are using Norton Password Manager, is it Desktop (Browser extension) or on your Mobile ?

Mobile Unlock Setup is not needed, if you have Norton Password Manager Mobile App installed with Fingerprint/Face ID detection enabled then you should be able to reset your vault password from our Mobile App.

Your reply still sounds like (assumes) the user had previously set up Mobile Unlock feature for their vault.
I mean sans vault password...at this time...the user cannot...now...setup Mobile Unlock feature.
The user cannot "Reset their vault password" if the user had not previously setup Mobile Unlock with Fingerprint/Face ID detection enabled.

Yes....I was mixing up Mobile Unlock with Biometric access.

I meant...if you do not know your vault password. There is no "Vault Password - Reset" process from your Windows device.

I had a problem with Lastpass last month (someone most likely a hacker) changed my lastpass password. When the person did that I lost all my passwords. My main problem was losing my yahoo password, because that is my main account which I use for almost everything. I fired an e-mail to Dashlane (which I was trying them out then). Then I just thought there had to be a simpler answer than this. There was and I did it I called Yahoo and they fixed my yahoo password and Lastpass password for free. I think having a yahoo Norton subscription with them helped. I do not have the paid Lastpass even with yahoo.
I used Lastpass before I had known how good Norton's password manager is and since it is included for free with the Norton subscription I might as well use it. I was very happy with how Yahoo took care of my problem (they asked me for another e-mail and put that in my list of e-mails to recover the password). Losing the yahoo account would have been a nightmare.
Edited to add: I didn't recover any password, but since I had a new recovery e-mail for yahoo I could now put in a new password.

Reset vault password of Norton Password Manager from your mobile device
Norton Password Manager lets you reset your vault password from your mobile device only. You cannot reset your vault password from your Windows device. To reset the vault password from your mobile device, ensure that the Norton Password Manager app is installed and configured to open vault using biometric authentication.
