I used Repair Drivers on Norton Utilities now I think I have a broken driver.

I used the Repair Drivers ability in Norton Utilities 16 on my Windows 10 computer and now nothing will open, when I left click things on my desktop nothing happens (including the windows button). I can access some of my documents but only the ones under 'Windows' or 'Recovery' all the other folder locations (Documents, Videos, etc) have no name beside their icon and when I click on them it does nothing.

I can open some programs and files using very convoluted methods, which at least proves they still exist. Is this because of a broken driver? If so how do I fix it?

Have you restarted your computer? Not shutdown and start up again, but restart.

What version of Norton Utilities are you using?

I restarted it and it took longer than normal but the problem hasn't been solved. I'm using Norton utilities 16 (but I can't open it)

The feature in NU is Repair Drive, not drivers.

What options did you choose when you did the Repair Drive? Did you just use Repair Drive, or did you also use Surface Scan?

Have you tried restarting your computer a few times. Not Shutdown and Startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.

And have you restarted your computer a few times?

Why did you use this feature? Were you experiencing some kind of problem?

I just restarted my computer 5 times and nothing has changed. I did this because my WiFi has been playing up only on my computer and I thought it couldn't hurt to do this.

Ok so I've found my files just by searching around and I can open all of them except video, audio, and pictures when I try it says "Class not registered".
