ID Safe no longer works with any browser
Congratulations to the programming idiots responsible for ID Safe. It now doesn't work with FF, IE11 or Chrome without manually clicking the "Vault is closed" button in the toolbar. Even then, it takes some time for it to actually open the vault. I've also read that there is supposedly an update for NIS yet apparently that wasn't exactly true either since it isn't available despite what is clearly stated here: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Product-Update-21-1-1-of-Norton-Internet-Security-amp-Norton/td-p/1096119. I have NIS 18.104.22.168 and even if I go to the update center it still claims I have the latest version and no update is available. So not only does ID Safe not work but now Norton has apparenty taken to telling blatant lies about their products. If they lie about the update being available, then one can't help but wonder what else they are lieing about. I have been an advocate of Symantec/Norton for years but can no longer recommend their products in good faith to my business clients as I feel the company can no longer be trusted. If I didn't still have 200+ days left on my subscription I would change my security software today.
