Identity Safe

I recently upgrade ny husbands computer to 360 from NIS 2012. He lost his Identity safe info when I did this.It was a local safe, he had not created an account and save to the cloud as I had with mine. How can I get it back? It would have been nice if Norton would have said save it prior to the install. I thought it would just be forwarded to the updated version as it had in the past. I unistalled 360 and reinsatlled NIS2012 but still couldn't find it.

Needless to say I am in the doghouse..please help it is COLD out here :)

Re: Identity Safe

Hi Darlin26,

Let's see if we can get you out of the dog house.

You said you upgraded from NIS 2012 to 360.  How did you remove NIS?  Did you run the Norton Removal Tool  after removing it via Control Panel?  Did you just do an over install and if so do you remember if NIS 2012's installation detected and removed an already installed Norton Product?

You then uninstalled 360 and reinstalled NIS 2012 - same questions as above in regards to the removal and reinstall.

Also we need to know the operating system.

I will assune the two vaults (yours and his) have different log-in entiries, so it's not a matter of just copying yours to his.

Did he at any time Export his ID Safe Data?

Hopefully with the addtional information we can figure something out.
