Identity Safe does not work

I have not been able to sign in to my Identity safe Vault.  It asks me to sign-in, which i do, then it brings me back to the sign in promp again.  Is this not available anymore? 

It also stated that i had logged into the vault too many times so i was locked out...which i haven't (this was before i did the live update and restarted my comp.)   

The browser i use is Google Chrome and Windows 10

i am having the exact same problem on 2x of my home PC's which started happening over last 24 hours

I have 4 HP desktops all using the same version of Norton 360 Premier, Windows 10 and Chrome. Three operate normally but the 4th will not allow me to open my vault.

Same here with Win 10 and Chrome.

Identity safe will ask me for my passsword, then do nothing for a long time, and finally give me a time-out error.

Really annoying.

I've just started having the same problem. I even reset my Norton password thinking I had forgotten it.

Is there a fix available yet?

Problem's solved for me. I uninstalled and then reinstalled Norton and Identity Safe works again.

Hi Boko...

When you uninstalled, did you lose your login data or did you have to build the data file all over again? I had considered doing as you did but was afraid of loosing my extensive login database.

I have the exact same problem on my PC; Windows 10.1

...asks me to login to launch VAULT. When I login, it goes right back to the same login page over and over.

 Your vault is stored online in Norton's servers. So reinstalling your product will not affect your vault. You will be able to just sign in with the new installation.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

I uninstalled the Norton 360 Premium and reinstalled and Identity Safe still will not allow me to open the vault. I go through the motions of signing in and it keeps returning me to the "Get Started" page.

Any other ideas, please?

i had an admin send me a private email a couple of days after with a list as long as your arm of things they wanted me to do...fortunately the day after requesting help on here i booted up pc and opened the browser clicked on the Vault sign in....guess what...it worked without going back to sign in again :) so i replied to the email all was good and that was the end of it...sooooooo....all i did was leave it overnight and it fixed itself....

if anyone wants a copy of that private email they sent me...(why is it a secret?? i have no idea) let me know...i am happy to share it :)

if you have only 3 pc edition you won't be able to open on your 4th pc

however if you have enough to cover the 4 pc's i would look into your online account

and see how many are currently active...you may need to delete one that is not being used

to allow this 4th one access :)

I actually have two, 3pc licenses (allowing for 6 pc installs). I checked again this morning and I still have one unused license.

if me i would delete the pc you registered with (the 4th one)

and any other not being used...(hell...maybe all of them and start again).....you should actually have 2 unused (me thinks lol)

other than that...wait for admin to respond as i think your problem is a little different to mine

in that i have a 3pc license using only 2 and both of them didn't have access...yet next day

both of them mysteriously became available again

I have a 10 pc license and have 4 pc's.  My problem went away when I shut all of the pc's down for the night the next morning they one by one went back to normal where I could open the ID vault.  I do notice I have to use different passwords on each.

How long have you had these vaults on your systems? It sounds like you have local vaults.

Using an online vault has only one vault password, regardless of which computer you use to access it.

If I were to guess, the information in your private message is the same information contained in this thread in the Forum Feedback section of this Community. It is not the message that is private, just the method of communicating a message to a specific user. Sometimes Norton employees will need to ask for and reply to requests for personal information, such as the email you use for your Norton Account. You do not want that information in the public forums.
