Identity Safe re: IE

I am new to Android and SmartPhones, but have used RoboForm for many years on the Windows PC and it has worked great.
I now have a Samsung GS4 and it works well with all browsers, but the Gestures movements that the GS4 allows works with IE.
RoboForm does not support IE.  RF has a plugin for FireFox, which I am using.

-I am interested in a Password Manager that does work with IE.
-Also if it works with APP logins.
-Also multiple page login sites.
-AND the big one...will import my 200+ User Names, URLs, and Passwords from RoboForm!

I have checked LastPass...I believe it used Safari?
mSecure...I think they have their own browser?
Keeper did not work with IE.
KeePass does NOT work with multiple page login using KeeForm.
Safe in Cloud used Chrome...does not work with GS4 Gestures, etc.

So, does Norton Identity Safe allow me to use IE, and then when I want to login at a site login page, it will fill the User Name/Password?  I don't want to necessarily start at the login page, but if I need to login then it will fill.

Thanks!

Bob

Re: Identity Safe re: IE

Hi NISBOB

I am guessing when you mention IE in your post and questions that stands for Internet Explorer.?

I hope i am correct. :)

As far as i know RoboForm on a PC or Mac is compatible with the Internet Explorer browser plus

Firefox, Chrome and Opera.

Plus there is an app for the Android devices from Google Play as well instead of using a browser

plugin.

RoboForm Google Play App

And as far as Norton Identity Safe (NID Safe) goes it is totally free to download and use with your PC,

Mac, iOS and Android devices.

Norton Identity Safe iTunes Store Link

For your PC or Mac just download the NID Safe Client from the link below and you will find that NID Safe

can be used with Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari browsers.

Norton Identity Safe Website Link

And with App logins on an Android device it is not  possible as the Android app for NID Safe uses a

browser that is built into the app it' self, which means  logins with passwords can only be used and

performed within the NID Safe browser.

NID Safe can be logged into multiple websites with multiple pages or tabs on a PC and same likewise

with the Android app as far as i know. More info about the NID Safe Android App can be found on

Google Play from the link below -

Norton Identity Safe Google Play Link

And the big one being can all of your RoboForm data be imported into NID Safe ? i am pretty sure that

that is not possible. :(

But there is something that can be done from what i read in RoboForms website and that is to Print Out

all of your Passcards and Passwords which would allow you to easily fill in the required data to make

NID Safe fully operational with all of your passwords and login details etc. :)

And a great thing with NID Safe is once logged in if the feature is not used for a set time the NID Safe

will log out for you for extra security.

And also there is the option to have NID Safe auto fill login details or you can set it to request, also  there

are a few customizations that can be made with the settings for NID Safe.

I hope that info helps.

Cheers.

Re: Identity Safe re: IE

"Plus there is an app for the Android devices from Google Play as well instead of using a browser

Unfortunately, the plugin for RoboForm only works with Firefox or Dolphin....none for IE.

"And with App logins on an Android device it is not  possible as the Android app for NID Safe uses a

browser that is built into the app it' self, which means  logins with passwords can only be used and

performed within the NID Safe browser."

Since NID Safe uses a built in browser, then it will not work with IE....I am looking for a Password manager that works with IE.

"And the big one being can all of your RoboForm data be imported into NID Safe ? i am pretty sure that

that is not possible. :( "

There are some Managers that will import data from RoboForm...look at LastPass for instance.

Thanks for the info. anyway.
