Identity Safe still not working for me

Identity Safe still not working for me. It works one time after I install it, but when I re-launch Chrome Browser, it is gone and I have to re-install. This has been going on for over a week.

@kpdandjad - are you having problems logging into your account? Or Identity Safe isn't launching? Or you're seeing an error message? If you can provide any details on what you do and what problems you see, that would help a lot. Thanks.

No problem logging into the Norton account. I am running Win7 with the latest version of Chrome. I have installed all the Norton extensions (Safe Search, Home Page, Security Toolbar and Identity Safe) After I do this, the Security toolbar appears and my vault is open. Everything runs normal. But when I close Chrome and later re-launch Chrome, the toolbar is gone and I need to add the Norton Security toolbar extension on Chrome. Each time I get the popup saying the extension has changed and I need to agree that I want it installed. I have been using Identity Safe of at least 2 years and this issue just appeared a few weeks ago. I use Identity Safe on 2 different laptops and a desktop and have the same issue on all 3 PC's

Hi @kpdandjad,
Do you have any other Chrome extensions added to Chrome browser other than Norton? Please try below steps and let us know the status?
1. Delete current/any Norton Toolbar extensions
2. Restart
3. Install Norton Extensions from Norton product "Identity" option.

I've been unable to use Identity Safe in Chrome for over a year now, though it works fine on the same computer in IE. I've spent hours with Norton support remotely connected, uninstalling and reinstalling everything Norton and everything Google on my PC (many times) but no toolbar and no Norton Identity Safe. No idea why - standard Windows 7 / 64 setup. So if anyone does fix this, I would love to know!

What Norton product and what version please are you using? What extensions do you have installed?

Norton Security 22.9.4.8 (though there have been several upgrades since I first reported the problem)
Chrome 59.0.3071.109 (though again it has been through many upgrades since I first reported the problem) with the following extensions
Sometimes the toolbar does appear, unhelpfully covering other items, as others have said, but even when the toolbar is there it says the vault is closed when it isn't. Clicking on "vault is closed" brings up the same menu as if the vault was open, but nothing is ever auto-completed.
