If VPN is such an important security tool, why is it that Norton's own website won't recognized access when Norton VPN is active?

If VPN is such an important security tool, why is it that Norton's own website won't recognized access when Norton VPN is active?

Many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections. Even Norton protects their own sites from VPN access, as you have found.
