Incognito defeating Norton Family. Regedit disable not working.

My teen in using incognito to defeat the web browsing control of NF. I had incognito disabled in the registry edit, but now it's back and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. The regedit is still there correctly for disabling incognito.

Re: Incognito defeating Norton Family. Regedit disable not working.

Hi Nancy B,

Norton Family provides web supervision protection when incognito/private browsing modes are used. The child would be blocked with a browser specific "Internet access block" page (in place of custom Norton Family block page). This would prevent the child from viewing websites that are not allowed as per the house rules.

Upon analyzing the backend data, we see that the incognito mode was launched on Chrome browser and Norton Family has blocked the website access.

Thanks,
Norton Family Team
