"Insert Image" causing page to freeze

I'm reporting lots of problems at the moment: when signing in to this Community and when trying to access the Vault, for example. Just now I've reported a 'Get Started' problem opening the Vault http://community.norton.com/en/forums/get-started-problems-logging-vault

After inserting text, I clicked on the 'Insert Image' icon and the screen froze - worse still I had to shut down Internet Explorer 11.

I restarted IE11 and tried again but before clicking on the 'Insert Image' icon, I hovered over it. Instead of showing IMCE there was nothing. Same freeze, same effect on IE11. I tried Chrome but still the same problem.

The third time I tried via IE11, I tabbed down and hit the 'Insert Image' icon before inserting text. It worked.

Is this happening to anyone else? It must!

I don't use the vault, but I never had trouble like that.

That seems very odd. Do you have any extensions for IE 11 that might be having a type of impact on this functionality?
