Installation hangs for Norton Family on Windows 10

I installed Norton Family on my son's laptop in May.  Everything was working fine until about one week ago.  It appears that Norton Family was not monitoring the device and the program files has been partially deleted.  (This is a  mystery that I have discussed with my son...)  Anyway, I attempted to uninstall Norton Family and then reinstall the file using the NF Installer.  I have tried about 10 times and each time, it will download the NF executable file but will hang during the installation.  It appears that it is trying to "connect to Norton Family" and apparently never does.  

I am also running Norton Internet Security on the device (a part of NOrton 360 purchase).

can you provide a solution?  I am getting frustrated.  I have Norton Family installed on several other devices and everything is working fine.  Something is obviously not set correctly on my son's laptop.

I'd appreciate the help.

I am having this same problem as well.  Were you able to fix this issue?  If so, could you send along the fix to me as well?  It is extremely frustrating to say the least.

No.  Unfortunately, I haven't solved this.  Norton support asked to do a remote session but the time zone difference makes it challenging.

All: Update to the newest version of your app following these suggestions:

In your Norton Security dashboard go to the following per the screenshot. Notice "Get Support" on the left side of your screen. Click it and allow the tool to run on your install and check for errors. It will repair any found.
