Installing Norton 360 in different countries

Norton won't let me install Norton 360 that was bought in Canada on my computer located in the USA. I have a Norton subscription from Canada and can't activate Norton 360 installed from that account on my computer located in the US. I have residences in both countries so it is important my Norton programs work in both places. I have been a Norton customer for many years, but if Norton can't resolve this problem I will be looking for someone who can. 
Funny thing is I also have Norton Utilities on the same account and there is no problem installing it on my computer located in the US.
Norton needs to get their act together so their customers can install these products on their own computers no matter where located!!

How about a response from Norton Management????

You are running up against the geo locking feature of Norton products. This feature had to be implemented due to export rules and other political reasons to restrict the use of US developed software. 

What you need to do is contact Norton Support and explain your situation and ask them to change your subscription to one with a non geo locked product key.    www.norton.com/contactcs

Licenses are generally locked by region. You can contact Norton Support and ask them to remove the regional restriction. If you wish you could also ask support to extend your current subscription with the new license code as well.
