Internet access occasionally stops working on one computer
I have installed the software on 3 computers. On one of them, the Internet access occasionally stops working. For example, LiveMessenger will suddenly sign out and you cannot log back in and Windows Live Mail can no longer download email. Also, trying to browse to any web site will fail. This is occurring with an account that is not set to be monitored by the software.
The problem is not consistent. Yesterday it occurred several times within an hour and then not at all during the day until late evening. This morning, on a cold boot, the problem returned after 3 minutes of being online. After a few minutes the problem disappeared again.
I looked in the Windows Event log and I see numerous incidents of this error (which seems to occur around the time of the outages):
Faulting application ccSvcHst.exe, version 220.127.116.11, time stamp 0x49a5dac7, faulting module MSVCR80.dll, version 8.0.50727.3053, time stamp 0x4889d619, exception code 0xc000000d, fault offset 0x0001c992, process id 0x830, application start time 0x01c9ca4e1606aa2e.
I have an HP Pavillion DV6000 and also have Norton 360 version 2.0 installed on the computer. There is no other security software besides Norton 360 and Norton Online Family.
Thanks for any help that you can provide.
