Internet Explorer Compatibility View Error Message

I have just purchased Norton Online Backup.

I am using IE9 in Windows 7.  After Signing In the page starts to load then reloads with a message

"A problem displaying backup.com caused Internet Explorer to refresh the webpage using Compatibility View"

The pages are displayed but buttons are distorted and unreadable. This software should not require Compatability view as it is not an old software.

All other Norton products display normally.

I have had to load Mozilla Firefox just to be able to use this software.
