Is the IOT Security working?

I had a Cujo Security/Netgear Nighthawk set up, with Norton Security on my computers, before coming over to Core.  On that set up, I routinely received alerts for several of my 32 connected devices including my computers, iphones, and amazon Fire devices.  Since I have been on Core, for almost a week, I have received only one threat notice.  This notice was for medianetnow.com on my laptop computer.  I went to that site through my Google browser on my iphone and the site came right up without being blocked.

My question: Is Core actually protecting devices without the Norton Security program actually installed?

Switched back to my Netgear Router and Cujo and again receiving threat alerts on my iPhone connections. Not sure if these are true, but....

Where are you seeing these alerts? What are the alerts telling you?

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Re: Is the IOT Security working?

Cujo blocked the following 3 attempts on my iphone while I was not using it:

08/23 at 4:15PM: 184.168.221.53:80

08/23 at 6:07PM: geo-um.btrll.com

08/23 at 6:09PM: pix.btrll.com

Like I said, I am not sure if Cujo is being over cautious, because today these sites are no longer blocked.

On 8/23 at 11:56AM after removing Core and reverting back to my Netgear/Cujo setup I went to one of Cujo's recommended test sites, "hostname.com" , and it was blocked on my iphone.  When using Core, the page loaded on my iphone.  I use Norton Security and blocked it both times on my computer.
