Ir-Regular and Missing Norton AntiVirus Definitions

Hello, Everyone,

For a good few months now, there have been ir-regular and missing Builds of Norton Anti-Virus Definitions.  On Saturday, May 22, 2010, and Sunday, May 23, there were only one Build released, compared to the two that are meant to get released at the weekend, and, on Monday, May 24, and May 25, there has been one missing Build on each of those days.  There appears to be planned V.D. release, but never do get released.  I hope this gets Fixed, if there is indeed something wrong, or symantec start releasing the V.D.s they are meant to.  It would be helpful to know why this is happening, so I would be greatful if someone from symantec Security Response posted a Message to let us all know what is happening.  Thank-you so much!

Thursday, November 21, 2013: The THREATCON was changed to Level 1: Normal | Tue., Nov. 05, 2013: Zero-Day Vulnerability: Microsoft Security Advisory 2896666 | Saturday, November 09, 2013: Cyber-Criminals Serve Up A Veritable Smorgasbord Of Threats For South Koreans | Wednesday, October 09, 2013: New Internet Explorer Zero-Day Targeted In Attacks Against Korea And Japan [C.V.E.-2013-3897]

Re: Ir-Regular and Missing Norton AntiVirus Definitions

Hello

According to the website, there are now antivirus definitions release listed for today, May 26th. I assume they should be on the way to people. I have noticed that when there is a delay like this, there is sometimes a definition that they want to be really sure about so it doesn't ruin people's computers like what happened with one antivirus company. I assume that sometimes it does take longer to fully test out these definitions to be sure that they are correct and won't do the wrong action if this malware is found on your computer. With some malware that is out there today, you really have to be careful how it is cleaned up. I don't know, this is just my opinion.,,,

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Norton Core Security Plus 22.17.3.50 Core Firmware 282 I E 11 Chrome latest version.
