Upon downloading, Norton tells me the Iseebiz Automatic Pet Feeder app is a risk due to possible" unusual activity." Is there something specific about the Iseebiz app?
Is there any detail given on the possible risk? Remember that unusual activity may be normal for a given app if you absolutely trust it.
Do you have a link to the app so I can test for you?
The Norton comment appeared as soon as was ready to download the app. As it (the app) is the only app available to access the feeder, I went ahead and downloaded. anyway. Following is the link to the app: https:// downloadapk . net/Iseebiz . html#.X4tA0uqLxcQ . mailto Thank you!
I tried to get the app to test, but you need an account to be able to get the download.
The only thing I can suggest is that Norton is flagging the download because it is not from the Google Play Store. Sideloaded apps are more susceptible to possible malware and strange behaviour as they have not been tested and 'certified' by the Play Store.
The good news is that the other layers of protection in the NMS app will catch any malicious behavior that might crop up from the app.
