Is it Me?

I received the patch the day it came out. Today I following the Hot Topic and uninstalled, used NRT and downloaded but my version is showing 22.5.0.120: wasn't this pulled?

Re: Is it Me?

Hi Jimbo40,

The 'patch' to 22.5.0.120 through Live Update was pulled because of an issue which occurred only when installing via that method.

There is no problem with the actual 22.5 version, so when downloaded as you outlined, your product will function as expected.  I performed the same steps as you, getting the full 22.5 version and it has been running flawlessly since Saturday.

You should be good to go.

Re: Is it Me?

Hi Phil_D,

Just curious to know - Do you happen to be a Microsoft Outlook (desktop email client) user, and if you are, can you let us know what version of the Outlook application you are using - also, whether or not you have the NS Anti-Spam feature enabled?

Thanks!

Re: Is it Me?

Hello John,

I am using Microsoft Outlook 2007.

Norton Anti-Spam is disabled because my ISP does a fabulous job of filtering spam.

However, in the Outlook Trust Center under Inactive Application Add-ins:
Norton AntiSpam Outlook Plugin 22.5.0.120\MsouPlug.dll

Does that help?

Now I am curious as to why you ask.
