Keep getting error on Chrome

Hi.  Since the last update to Norton Security, and after they fixed the problem with the Norton Toolbar, I have randomly been getting an error pop up.  The error page says: "The Norton extension for Chrome cannot communicate with the Norton Internet Security application."  Under this statement there is a clickable link to contact support about this.  When I click on the link, it takes me to the support page for the Mac version of Norton Security.  However, I am running NS on a PC with Windows 10 Pro 64 bit on it.    I can go to the extensions page in Chrome and disable the Norton Internet Security extension and the error tab goes away.  Sometimes when I re-enable it, the error comes right back, and other times it won't come back for a while.  I am also running Malware Bytes Premium on my machine, and haven't had this problem before the latest update to Norton.  Is this a glitch in Norton, or is it a new feature?

Re: Keep getting error on Chrome

Hi, Cyberwolffe. Try a clean install of Chrome and see if that helps.

Also, if you have Fast Start Up enabled try disabling it as it has been known to cause issues.

Win 10 requires a a full RESTART for Norton and other programs to correctly operate/update.

Can confirm that restart helps. Had a friend with a similar issue. Latest Chrome update, latest Norton update, and a restart did fix the issue.
