Keep getting the same notification e-mails

For some time (approximately three weeks) I am getting e-mails informing me about my kid trying to access a restricted website with always the same URL, which is http : // ugc-us-east-1 . boo . chat. No matter which site was actually blocked, the e-mails always contain the same URL. Today I tried to open a restricted photos.google.com website from my daughter's iPad, I got a push notification telling me the site was restricted. One hour later I got three e-mails within one minute telling me that my daughter tried to access ... http : / / ugc-us-east-1. boo . chat website on 2018.12.14 20:22. I have already whitelisted this website but I am still getting the same e-mails over and over again, always with the same blocked site and never with others that have actually been blocked.

Re: Keep getting the same notification e-mails

Hi rgala,

The URL ugc-us-east-1.boo.chat is generated by the app "BOO! - Next Gen Messenger" on your kid's device. The reason for receiving multiple URLs could be that, multiple URLs were blocked with the same domain name.

Hope you would have added the URL to the "Allowed Websites" list on the Norton Family portal to whitelist it. Kindly launch the "Norton Family" app on your kid's device and do a manual sync (Browser menu --> My House Rules --> Sync button on the top right corner)  to fetch the latest house rules. You shouldn't be seeing the URLs in the emails going forward.

Please let us know if it helps.

Thanks and Regards,
Andrew.

Re: Keep getting the same notification e-mails

I already did and it did not help. Last night I received 14 (yes: fourteen!) e-mails telling me that on 14.12.2018 my kid tried to visit that website. And we have 2019 already... How long I will keep receiving e-mails about what my kid tried to do three weeks ago? I want to receive information about what my kid did recently, and it is not happening at all.

Hi rgala,

I have sent you a private message. Could you please check it?
