In latest product update I lost features

Liveupdate just updated to the latest product version but now all I see is "Device Security", "Secure VPN", "Cloud Backup" and "Password Manager". What happened to the rest of Norton 360 Deluxe?

Re: In latest product update I lost features

Thanks.

I had run liveupdate a couple of times even after there were no new updates but still didn't see all I should have.

I hit the "+" key and now they are there.

(I'd never heard of the "+" key refreshing internet communications before!)

Look at the scroll bar to the right of the My Norton window. Scroll down to see the rest of the features in your product.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

Hi @ShawnG,

Thank you for posting on the Norton Community. This issue should be resolved now. Are you still seeing this behaviour? If yes, could you please share the screenshot of the Norton 360 Dashboard? Thank you.

Re: In latest product update I lost features

It was at the end of day yesterday.

Today it was back to just the 4 I mentioned above.

I ran liveupdate and then smart scan and they came back.

Someone above posted screenshots of I saw when things were missing and then when they came back both yesterday and today.

I'll shut down my PC and see if they stay this time.

Re: In latest product update I lost features

I shut down my PC.

I restarted and now I see all the features the first time I go to Norton 360.

I'll chime in again if they are gone again tomorrow.

Re: In latest product update I lost features

As always, a system restart on a Windows PC can cure all kinds of ills. Even though Norton says a restart is not required for completing updates, it is always wise to run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available.

Re: In latest product update I lost features

I'm chiming in.

Today the same thing happened.

When I first opened Norton 360 Deluxe today, I only saw the previously  mentioned 4 features.

This time Liveupdate did not restore the rest.

But I did go to something that needed to communicate with the Norton Server ("Help"?) and then they were all back.

This is getting annoying.

Norton used to have a "Remove and Reinstall" download.

Should I try that?

What Norton features do you use/want that you're not seeing?

Re: In latest product update I lost features

It happened again today. (Maybe the features are still "on" but I just don't see the "icons"?) I ran LiveUpdate. Still no show. I ran Smart Scan and they showed up.

I'm running Windows 10 64bit 20H2. On a Dell Inspiron 3847.

I'm also running HitManPro.Alert on startup.

Maybe the Norton Servers think I have Norton 360 rather than Norton™ 360 with LifeLock™ Select until I do something on my end that prompts a connection with the Norton servers?

(Previously in the thread I said I had Norton 360 Deluxe. Sorry. I have Norton 360 Select.)

PS I'm a dinosaur. I don't have a cell phone. I don't tweet or facebook or text. I could roar back in the days of DOS and Windows 3.1. Those days are gone.

Perhaps more words and less severely abbreviated words? I got what you were asking (I think) but my fellow almost-extinct brothers and sisters might not. No offence intended. 8-)
