Legitimate Emails Sent "on Behalf of Norton Community" Flagged as Junk

Recent email notifications I've received from the Norton Community are going straight to my Junk folder.  Note that I've added spaces around the "@" in the email addresses below so the WYSIWYG editor won't automatically create a hyperlink.

Older notifications that correctly arrived in the Inbox of my MS Outlook 2019 email client like the 23-Mar-2022 email below had "Norton Community <notifications @ community.nortonlifelock.com>" as the sender ...

...while more recent notifications going to my Junk folder like the 26-Mar-2022 email below have the sender "Norton Community <notifications @ community.nortonlifelock.com>; on behalf of Norton Community <notifications @ community.norton.com>".

Is this a new glitch in NortonLifeLock's email notification system?  I'm guessing I can fix this my self by adding notifications @ community.norton.com to my Safe Senders list but after reading the first post in MWB's 14-Mar-2022 thread I bought Norton for online protection yet most of my SPAM COMES FROM NORTON!  I'm just wondering if Norton has hired Constant Contact or some other marketing company to handle their email communications.

@lmacri, We are in process of updating the Community notification email address. Once fixed you should see an email notification sent from <notifications@community.norton.com>. I will update once this is done from our end. Thanks

Re: Legitimate Emails Sent "on Behalf of Norton Community" Flagged as Junk

I should add that I searched my Safe Senders list for "Norton" and notifications @ community.nortonlifelock.com is still there, so I suspect it's the new "on behalf of" email address (notifications @ community.norton.com) that's causing my Norton email notifications to end up in the Junk folder.

Re: Legitimate Emails Sent "on Behalf of Norton Community" Flagged as Junk

I added the email address notifications @ community.norton.com to my Safe Senders list on 29-Mar-2020 and that seems to prevent my email notifications from going my Junk folder.

However,  I'm still not sure why Norton is now using this new email address to send emails from notifications @ community.nortonlifelock.com "on behalf of notifications @ community.norton.com".  Could this change have anything to do with the problem being discussed in Admore's Not Receiving Mails from Product & Service Announcements Blogs?

Hi Sunil_GA:

I started receiving notifications from the new email address this morning (06-Apr-2022).  Thanks for letting me know it was a planned change.
