Linking device to account

When I try to link Norton Family on my son's Samsung Galaxy Tab S, I get the following: "Required Settings: You need to set the following settings to On for Norton Family to work: App Usage Acces." I changed it to On but the window does not go away and allow me to continue linking the device.

Hi ElmoT,

Can you please send me a private message with the following information via the forum by clicking Inbox at upper right hand corner?

1. Your Norton Family account email address. 

2. What version of Android is running on the device?  To determine what version is running on your device, select Apps > Settings > About phone or About tablet.

3. Show me a screen shot of the page where shows the message "App Usage Access"

HI ElmoT,

Our engineering team said few Samsung devices doesn’t navigate correctly to the App Usage settings during Norton Family setup.  In those devices the app usage access is available under General -> Security -> Apps with access to usage data -> Norton Family

Can you please

1. Enable Norton Family under Apps with access to usage data to see if this helps.

2. Share with us the screenshot after enabling Norton Family.

I enabled Norton Family in Security and it still did not work. I than uninstalled and reinstalled the Norton App and it worked!!
